Hi. I’m Felicia,
If my decade worth of communications experience has that’s taught me one important lesson, it’s this: good storytelling builds relationships.
And that’s what I seek to do in my work. I’m a grammar-obsessed writer dedicated to informing and engaging people using analytic-driven strategies and purpose-driven storytelling to keep them coming back for more. From tech to travel, my people-first approach has developed communications strategies for B2C, B2B, and internal audiences with big-picture results.
I earned my Master of Communication in Digital Media at UW, where I focused on sharpening my storytelling techniques and developing content strategies to create impactful communications,
But I’m more than my experiences and education. I’m a life-long learner. I’m that friend who will spontaneously go on an adventure or pick up a new hobby and happily teach you everything I know. Here are just a few of my current passions:
- I live for the sea and all things seafood. I can teach you how to shuck an oyster or how to razor clam!
- I joined the bandwagon of pandemic sourdough starters and have maintained my starter, affectionately named Vincent Van Dough, ever since. I’m currently nose-deep in my grandfather’s bread books and learning about baking with whole wheat berries.
- I converted an old, blue 1985 Chevy Beauville, named VanWilder, into a camper and frequently head out to our favorite places, like the Olympics or the North Cascades.
