As an account manager for Ethos Magazine’s advertising team, I wrote strategic proposals to five or more clients per edition to illustrate the advantages of advertising with Ethos; including targeted audience’s interests, business’ benefits and distribution locations. I also maintained relationships with current clients by personally bringing them new editions and checking in on their business, which helped me understand new opportunities for them and Ethos. Additionally, I negotiated pricing, ad location and size as well as made sure all contracts, payments and advertisements were given to Ethos.
I wrote a proposal to the School of Journalism and Communication’s Director of Communication and secured a one-page advertisement adjacent to the edition’s front-page article.
Ethos fostered a lasting relationship with off the waffle, a local eatery specializing in fun and unique waffle dishes. I supported off the waffle’s partnership by ensuring they had a new advertisement each edition (if they desired one) and provided a correctly formatted advertisement.
